Oliver Estes is a visual artist from Lincoln, Nebraska. He is currently a senior seeking dual degrees in Fine Arts and Art History & Criticism at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. His work centers on the physical and aesthetic qualities of clay as a material, working with bare surfaces that hold visible traces of throwing, trimming, and surface treatments embedded as evidence of both human and material collaboration. His work has been exhibited at the Kansas City Clay Guild, Savannah Clay Community, Clay AKAR Gallery, Good Earth Pottery, and other galleries across five states. Oliver was a 2025 Summer Artist in Residence at the Cub Creek Foundation in Appomattox, Virginia.
